Another shoe complaint
New York City sure can wear down a girl's shoes! Last year, I took quite a spill in the rain, as I walked around not knowing I had completely worn down the heel of my shoe. Recently, I almost fell again in the lobby of my building. The culprit: worn down heel! Damn! I should wear canvas and switch, but who wants to carry around one more thing?!!!

I must admitt that I have yet to figure out how to wear high heals. I hope to get the hang of it one day. In Duluth the only people that wear heals are lawyers and strippers. I am neither, yet.

Well! For the record, only two of the pairs were actual "heels;" the other was just a flat with one of those tiny heels. Yeah, I stopped wearing heels for awhile, but 5'2", baby, and I gotta stand tall (Pilates or not!).
